Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of technical field or applications engineering experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, mining, power generation or heavy industrial environments.
• Familiarity with sensor technologies, industrial monitoring, electronics and network communications.
• Understanding of hazardous locations and equipment ratings.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in the company’s products and applications across industrial markets.
• Partner with sales to understand customer requirements and recommend technical solutions.
• Translate needs into practical, manufacturable system and product solutions.
• Configure standard products to meet application-specific requirements.
• Design customized solutions using internal and third‑party technologies.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support recommendations.
• Serve as primary technical contact for customers during sales and implementation.
• Communicate product capabilities to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create application drawings, technical docs, specs, and training materials.
• Support design, testing, installation, commissioning and startup activities.
