Ilocatum seeks an Assistant Technical Applications Manager to blend engineering, automation, and hands-on field support. You will lead design, testing, and troubleshooting of gas detection, atmospheric monitoring, and control systems, while guiding customers from initial review to commissioning.

The role requires strong electrical knowledge, 10+ years in related roles, and experience with PLCs/HMIs (Allen-Bradley/IDEC) and Modbus protocols.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics is required.
• 10+ years experience in applications engineering, controls, automation, or related field.
• Experience programming/troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley/IDEC) is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communications (Modbus RTU/TCP) and instrumentation (4–20mA, 0–5V, 0–10V).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as senior technical resource for gas detection, automation, monitoring, and control system applications.
• Lead system design, including control architecture and integration.
• Configure, program, troubleshoot, and support PLCs, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Manage projects from concept through commissioning and customer training.
• Provide on-site commissioning, start-up support, and field service.
• Develop proposals, system documentation, and operating manuals.
• Mentor other application engineers and drive continuous improvement.
