Travel up to 40-50% domestically and internationally to customer sites and conferences; responsibilities include preparing quotes, analyzing ROI, and collaborating with engineering to deliver feasible applications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical discipline with 2+ years of relevant experience in the capital goods industry.
• Experience in support of printed circuit board assembly equipment or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides application engineering support to customers, sales, and product teams for assigned offerings and manufacturing processes.
• Determines customer needs and applies UIBU products to satisfy them; supports before and after sale and coordinates with product teams for timely resolutions.
• Assists in developing quotations including development time, cost and schedule; supports manufacturing cost and schedule planning.
• Interacts with engineering to ensure feasibility of requests and communicates quotations and justifications to customers.
