Job summary

Carl Zeiss Industrial Quality Solutions, LLC is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support pre-sales demonstrations and post-sales training across North America and internationally. The role requires strong engineering knowledge, customer-facing skills, and travel to customer sites to implement and support ZEISS systems.

You will provide technical guidance to the sales team, develop demonstrations, and deliver training for new products.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics is required.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and comfortable presenting to audiences.
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and related software.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation to field sales and the IM dealer network on advanced applications and systems.
• Plan, prepare, and perform high-quality customer demonstrations both in-house and in the field.
• Provide technical training programs to field personnel and dealer network.
• Respond to customer software/applications support questions and aid with product development testing.
