Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support our sales team by combining engineering know-how with customer-focused collaboration.

You will interface with customers and internal teams, lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, deliver product presentations, and help develop strategies to differentiate Amphenol’s high-speed interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins.
• Experience with modeling tools (Pro/E or SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams.
• Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as a field applications engineer.
• Provide technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
• Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
• Help devise strategies to differentiate Amphenol products from competitors.
• Some travel will be required.
