Job summary

Amphenol Corporation is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join the Austin, TX team, focusing on high-speed interconnects and collaborations with sales, product development, and customers.

You will interface with customers and internal teams, lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, and provide product presentations and marketing support. Travel may be required, and you will contribute to design wins and solutions for Tier-1 OEMs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins.
• Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office Products.

Responsibilities

• Act as engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle.
• Provide technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
• Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries.
• Help devise strategies to differentiate products and solutions from competitors.
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives.
• Some travel will be required.
