Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support large Enterprise and Consumer customers. You will lead technical aspects of the sales cycle, prepare technical presentations, and develop application-specific customer materials while collaborating with product marketing and engineering teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred) and 2+ years in design or applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in design or applications engineering of electrical hardware components/interconnect solutions.
• Experience providing product marketing and technical support to produce design wins.

Responsibilities

• Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the sales cycle; discovery, design, prototyping, and production
• Providing technical marketing support for the development and design of products, including internal/external power, memory, storage, and internal IO
• Prepare and participate in delivering technical presentations to the customer
• Develop customer-facing material that is application specific
• Provide customer support for all technical inquiries; provide product solutions to address customer concerns
• Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives
• Some travel will be required to other customer or Amphenol locations in the US or Taiwan.

The primary end markets for the Company's products are communications and information processing. The FAE engineering team interfaces with customers, internal product development, product marketing, and the extended salesteamto provideworld-class interconnectsolutions to our customers.

Education/ Experience:

• Bachelor's Degreein an Engineering discipline or other technical equivalent
  • Electrical Engineering, Mechanical EngineeringPreferred
• 2+ years' experiencein Design or Applications Engineering ofelectrical hardware components/interconnect solutions industry
• Experienceproviding product marketingand technical support to produce design wins
