Job summary

ASML in Boise, Idaho is seeking an Applications Engineer to support customer transitions to new technology nodes and optimize lithography/metrology performance in EUV and DUV environments. You will analyze data, translate issues into actionable statements, and present findings to customers and internal teams.

The role offers growth into technical, project, or leadership paths, with travel up to 10% for training and on-site support across US regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or higher.
• 0–3 years in a technical/engineering/applications field.
• Exposure to semiconductor/high-tech industry through coursework/internships.
• Experience with data analysis and interpreting technical data.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, JMP, SQL or similar tools.
• Strong communication, presentation and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead or participate in projects supporting customer transition to new technology nodes.
• Own workstreams within projects and drive autonomous plans to completion.
• Translate customer on-product issues into lithography/metrology problem statements and resolve them.
• Identify applications product opportunities for customers pro-actively.
• Conduct data analysis to derive correct conclusions from experiments and results.
