Job summary

Amphenol Corporation in Dallas, TX is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join our Sales Team. You will interface with customers and internal teams to lead the technical aspects of the sales cycle and support product marketing efforts for high-speed interconnect solutions.

The candidate will prepare materials, deliver product presentations, and provide responsive customer service to solve complex interconnect problems while differentiating Amphenol's offerings. Some travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of product marketing and sales technical support experience.
• Experience with modeling tools and Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers and internal product development, product marketing, and sales teams.
• Lead technical aspects of the sales cycle as the engineering resource on the sales team.
• Provide technical marketing support for development and implementation of Amphenol products.
• Prepare materials and participate in product presentations.
• Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and inquiries.
• Help devise strategies to differentiate products and solutions from competitors.
• Meet and exceed strategic objectives; some travel will be required.
