Job summary

KLA in Taylor, Texas seeks a Technical Applications Engineer to support the development and deployment of its inspection and metrology products at customer fabrication facilities. You will collaborate with engineering, sales and customer engineers, provide escalation and on-site support, and run experiments to characterize tool performance and build application recipes.

A master’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science or Electronics is required, with strong English and Korean

Qualifications

• MS or above in Engineering, Physics, Material Science or Electronics.
• Understanding of fab processes preferred.
• Good communication in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical applications support for the development and implementation of KLA products in customer fabrication facilities.
• Work closely with engineering, sales and marketing within KLA and with customer engineers.
• Provide escalation support to onsite field service engineer; leading and coordinating remote/local troubleshooting.
• Perform experiments to characterize tool/subcomponent performance and develop recipes to model applications.
• Provide application support and training to customers.
