Job summary

Renishaw's CGPD seeks a Field Applications Engineer-CMM to install, integrate, and support Renishaw’s CMM systems across Aerospace, Automotive, Defense, and Medical sectors. This remote home-office role covers the Northeastern USA with heavy travel, including some international trips.

The candidate will install and calibrate new CMMs, retrofit existing installations, train users, and develop technical documentation while supporting the direct sales force and distributors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and IT aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and certify new Renishaw CMM installations.
• Provide onsite and offsite support for product integration.
• Prepare technical support documentation and assist trade shows.
• Train end users, integrators, and staff.
• Troubleshoot product issues and collaborate with sales.
