Sagemcom seeks a Field Application Engineer to support North American customers with Sagemcom Audio/Video solutions. You will bridge customer needs with France/Tunisia R&D, ensuring products meet requirements and deployments succeed.
Applicants should have a technical degree and 3+ years in engineering or customer-facing roles, with strong communication and travel willingness to client sites across North America.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 3+ years in engineering or a technical role and in a customer-facing position required.
- Experience with Set-Top-Box ecosystems and related software/hardware solutions preferred.
- Strong communication and ability to translate customer needs to engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Validate and qualify STB/VSB products in customer ecosystems and report to R&D in France or Tunisia.
- Act as a subject matter expert on Sagemcom Audio and Video offerings for customer-facing technical activities.
- Be a trusted point of contact to ensure long-term customer satisfaction and deployment success.
- Document customer requirements and communicate them to Product and Engineering teams.
- Own issues from reporting to resolution, including lab replication and validating fixes.
- Travel periodically to NA customer sites for meetings, workshops, and certification activities.
