Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (Analog & Power) in the Boston area to support customers in New England and Eastern Canada. You will lead power and analog design engagements, review schematics, help select components, and guide designs from concept to production.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years in analog and power electronics.
• Experience in customer-facing or design roles.
• Strong lab and measurement skills.
• Ability to translate design requirements into system solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer power architecture development and device selection.
• Perform design reviews, root‑cause analysis, and hands‑on debugging.
• Drive product evaluations and competitive positioning.
• Execute hands‑on lab work including board bring‑up and validation.
• Support system‑level design integration across subsystems.
• Provide technical guidance to accelerate designs to production.
• Develop customer trainings and technical seminars.
• Travel to key customer engagements (~10–20%).
