Job summary

Renesas Electronics, a leader in embedded semiconductor solutions, is seeking a technically capable lead to drive analog design for complex power management ICs in the United States. The role involves guiding analog team members, implementing improvements, and representing Renesas with external customers.

You will interpret requirements, supervise design, simulation, and layout, and take ownership of major blocks while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork to collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Interpret requirement specifications to achieve system and design strategy for power management products.
• Technical leadership for major blocks, ensuring designs are guided into production; design, simulation and layout supervision of CMOS power management circuits.
• Take ownership for complex block design and review work where necessary.
• Feasibility studies of new circuits; lead lab evaluation with Applications Engineers.
• Produce high quality documentation for IP blocks; lead innovation of design methodologies.
• Support DFT strategy and implementation; collaborate with test team to ramp to production.
• Top level simulation and verification planning and implementation.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
• Customer-facing relationship as part of project team.
