Job summary

Renesas Electronics in the Boston area seeks a Field Applications Engineer (Analog & Power) to lead power and analog solutions for New England and Eastern Canada customers. You will guide architecture, perform design reviews, and drive design-win opportunities across PMICs, DC/DC, GaN & MOSFETs, LDOs, and battery management.

Qualifications

• BS Electrical Engineering required.
• MS EE preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Analog and Power Electronics (customer-facing or design role).

Responsibilities

• Lead customer power architecture development, including power tree design, device selection, and system optimization.
• Perform technical design reviews, root-cause analysis, and hands-on debug for analog and power issues.
• Drive product evaluations and competitive positioning for Renesas power/analog portfolio.
• Execute hands-on lab work: board bring-up, measurement, validation, and failure analysis.
• Support system-level design integration across power, processor, and connectivity subsystems.
• Provide technical guidance to customers to accelerate designs from concept to production revenue.
• Deliver field feedback to influence roadmap and enablement content.
• Develop and present customer trainings and technical seminars.
