Job summary

Molex is seeking a proactive Field Application Engineer to lead technical engagements with Infotech customers and promote Molex high-speed copper products. You will drive design wins, work with customer and Molex teams to resolve issues, and develop demos and materials to showcase solutions.

Ideally you have a Bachelor's in engineering, 3+ years in electronics, and strong skills in PCIe, signal integrity, and NX CAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years' engineering experience in electronics industry.
• Experience interacting with customers and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engineering contacts and Molex sales to secure new design wins.
• Establish strategic technical relationships with key engineering and SI contacts.
• Collaborate with customer development/process/reliability engineers to resolve design-in issues for High Speed I/O, Backplane/BTB/Storage Connectors and cables.
• Provide innovative solutions leveraging Molex offerings and assist Account Management in proposing solutions.
• Share knowledge with other Molex FEAs in Infotech/Datacom space.
• Coordinate with Product Management, Global Sales, and other groups for alignment and improvements.
• Develop demos and customer-facing presentations on technical concepts.
• Create supporting documents and application notes for customers.
