Job summary

3Brain AG is expanding its US presence and seeks a Field Application Scientist to join the new Baltimore facility. You will deliver scientific and technical support across the US, manage the Baltimore biology lab for demonstrations and hands-on training.

Join a dynamic team at the intersection of science and technology, collaborating with academic and industry labs. Travel up to 30% within the US and occasional international travel are required.

Qualifications

• PhD in Neuroscience, Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on neuronal cell culture experience with primary neurons and iPSC models.
• Experience with animal dissection and tissue processing for cell culture.
• 2+ years with human and non-human stem cells; electrophysiology familiarity.
• Strong data analysis skills and Windows software proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep knowledge of products to guide researchers and staff.
• Stay current with literature and developments in the field.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support, including training and design support.
• Diagnose and resolve issues and ensure customer success.
• Travel up to 30% within the US; occasional international travel.
• Manage the Baltimore applications laboratory for demonstrations and training.
• Organize workshops and live demos to support sales training.
• Oversee lab operations, maintenance, and inventory replenishment.
• Design experiments on 3Brain platforms and analyze data.
• Support sales with product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Represent 3Brain at events and conferences.
