Job summary

Delta Electronics Americas is seeking a Field Application Engineer for Intelligent Power Systems (IPS). You will be the technical expert for UPS, PCS, AiO, BESS, and related power solutions, supporting design, sizing, and integration for data centers and critical facilities.

You will collaborate with Sales, PM, Engineering, and Service teams, perform system analyses, and travel up to 30% in North America to support customers and partner training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 3–5+ years supporting UPS, PCS, AiO, BESS, or critical power infrastructure.
• Experience with three-phase and single-phase systems and mission-critical power applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical expert for Delta IPS portfolio including UPS, PCS, AiO, BESS, PDUs and STS.
• Support sales with technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution recommendations.
• Assist customers with system sizing, electrical design, and redundancy (N, N+1, 2N).
• Provide commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, FAT/SAT, and post-installation support.
• Collaborate with PM, R&D, and Global Engineering to improve products and resolve issues.
• Develop technical docs and deliver training for customers and partners.
• Travel up to 30% across North America for support and training.
