Job summary
Toyota Automated Logistics is seeking a Field Application Engineer for the Memphis, TN market to promote the latest automation technologies in material handling. You will develop strong relationships with industrial and distribution clients and tailor solutions that meet their business requirements, including robotics, AGVs, and autonomous vehicles.
The role involves outbound sales, account development, and presenting professional quotes while collaborating across Toyota Automated Logistics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Mechanical or MET preferred.
- 2+ years of engineering experience; technical sales experience preferred.
- Experience with material handling automation design and sales.
- Ability to generate target accounts and conduct outbound outreach.
- Must maintain valid driver's license and travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Generate new buying accounts through outbound sales activities.
- Develop relationships with customers via regular visits.
- Assess customer needs and tailor automation solutions.
- Present quotes and sell a wide variety of products and services.
- Collaborate with other Toyota Automated Logistics entities to deliver integrated solutions.
- Maintain CRM records and pursue leads from the website and suppliers.
- Master business tools like AutoCad, CRM, PowerPoint.
