Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
• Experience supporting semiconductor products and embedded system designs preferred
• Knowledge of NXP microcontrollers, processors, analog, connectivity, automotive, or power management solutions strongly preferred
• Strong technical expertise in semiconductor and embedded system solutions
• Ability to translate customer requirements into successful design opportunities
• Participation in a sales compensation plan

Responsibilities

• Serve as Field Application Engineer supporting NXP; act as primary technical interface between Arrow, NXP, and customers
• Drive design registrations, design wins, demand creation, pipeline management, and revenue growth
• Apply technical knowledge, solution selling, and engineering resources to influence customer designs
• Partner with sales teams across pre- and post-sales activities and provide technical support and consulting
• Conduct technical calibrations and research with sales, Arrow departments, and NXP
• Attend supplier trainings, workshops, technical conferences, and conference calls
• Manage stakeholder expectations and develop relationships with NXP and customer decision-makers
• Work with NXP field sales, applications engineers, business development teams, and product groups to identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities
• Participate in branch meetings and QBRs and develop strategic technical plans centered on NXP product lines and customer solutions
• Organize engineering customer events, workshops, and technology seminars focused on NXP solutions
