Job summary
Ferguson is seeking an Installation Manager - Appliances to join our operations team in Texas. This field-based role requires leading 8–12 installation technicians, coordinating deliveries and installations, and supporting sales efforts across Brookshire and Spring markets.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years in appliance installation or installation leadership, strong customer service, and proficiency with MS Office.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in routing, scheduling, or appliance installation
- 3 years installing appliances as a lead
- Experience with hand tools, electric tools and lifting devices
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail, integrity and professionalism
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
Responsibilities
- Direct Reports: 8-12 Installation Technicians
- Reports to Senior Installation Manager - Appliances
- Support outside sales and showroom consultants to secure new business
- Lead appliance install tech’s, delivery, and installation coordinator associates
- Lead outside contractors if project activities are sub-contracted
- Consult with associates and customers at job sites
- Perform quality checks on the installation work to ensure proper practices
- Verify that installation paperwork is complete and accurate
- Manage installation related issues and provide solutions
- Plan, schedule, or coordinate project activities to meet timelines
- Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel
- Work with branch trainer and manager to ensure delivery and install processes
- Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns
- Conduct regular associate meetings
- Represent organization to customers and leadership as needed
