Sterling Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineer in Kennesaw, GA to turn complex business challenges into deployable AI solutions for mass excavation and earthwork operations.

You’ll work hands-on with operations teams to design and deliver AI-powered applications, dashboards, and automations that improve field workflows and reporting. The role emphasizes independent collaboration, practical problem-solving, and ownership from concept to deployment within a growing infrastructure

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, engineering, or related field.
Experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, or AI projects.
Strong programming and development skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with operations teams to identify AI opportunities.
Design, develop, and deploy applications, AI agents, automations, dashboards, and data integrations.
Build solutions using Azure, Fabric, Power BI, and other AI technologies.
Develop AI-powered workflows using Claude, Copilot, and Azure AI.
Turn complex data into practical tools for efficiency and reporting.
Own projects from concept through deployment and support.
Collaborate with IT, security, and business leaders for secure, scalable solutions.
