Job summary

Luminai is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer delivery, embedding with customers to design and deploy AI-powered workflows that drive immediate value.

You’ll own deployments end-to-end—from scoping to launch—translate customer needs into scalable systems, and partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and platform design in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• Strong Python proficiency with experience in production systems.
• Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into working, production-ready systems.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and success criteria.
• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions tailored to real operational problems.
• Build and maintain production systems including APIs, integrations, monitoring, and feedback loops.
• Translate business requirements into technical architectures and implementations.
• Operate in high-stakes environments where reliability, speed, and judgment matter.
• Identify patterns across deployments and feedback into core product and platform development.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and long-term design.
• Own deployments end-to-end from scoping through launch and iteration.
