Job summary

Zoetis is seeking an Account Manager for the US Petcare Division, field based in the Wilmington, DE area. The role uses solution selling, territory management, and business planning to maximize sales in the assigned geography, with travel and some evening work.

You will build relationships with hospitals and veterinary personnel, launch new products, meet quotas, and develop a Territory Business Plan. A BS/BA is required, with 3–10 years of consultative sales and Animal Health knowledge.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required.
• 3–10 years consultative sales experience.
• Animal Health experience and small animal veterinary medicine knowledge.
• Ability to use analytics/insights, manage budgets, work independently, and incorporate feedback.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn Zoetis systems.

Responsibilities

• Meet overall sales objectives (quota) overall and for key growth products via demand generation within targeted geography.
• Launch new products/service offerings and generate new equipment leads.
• Demonstrate Solution Selling capabilities.
• Build and demonstrate relevant technical knowledge, verbal fluency, and veterinary practice expertise.
• Build effective relationships with and service all targeted hospitals/personnel to maintain and grow relevance and access within each account.
• Interact with customers per Zoetis promotional guidelines.
• Develop and execute a Territory Business Plan/Resource Allocation; implement resources and follow up to maximize ROI.
• Meet field activity expectations (sales call activity and investment in medical education programs).
• Develop and execute an account/veterinarian call-cycle to meet reach/frequency expectations.
• Work professionally with colleagues; meet expectations for integrity/compliance, communication, administrative responsibilities, and teamwork.
