Viking Electric in Rochester, MN, is seeking a Field Account Manager to lead account growth in the Madison market. You’ll negotiate with customers and vendors, promote Viking Electric solutions, and tailor business plans to client potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years electrical industry experience (City Desk, Account Representative, Project Sales, Specialist or Operations).
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Must have a valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
• Strong understanding of Electric products and Viking Electric services and solutions.
• Must have effective negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with customers and vendors to obtain orders, meet schedules, enhance profitability, and to ensure that each customer uses Viking as their primary source of material.
• Promote and sell the people, products and services and solutions of Viking Electric. Tailor a business plan to each customer’s potential and market needs.
• Work with Account Representatives, Project Team associates and other specialists to ensure quality service and receivables goals, and prospect for new accounts as applicable.
