Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Field Access Manager, IBD-EOE to optimize patient access by educating providers on reimbursement and access barriers. The role involves delivering tailored, field-based reimbursement education and building collaborative relationships with healthcare organizations to resolve access issues.

You will educate internal teams on complex scenarios and stay current on policy trends to proactively address barriers, reporting to the Regional Director, Patient Access, GI Central.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 5+ years of field-based experience in account management, sales, or medical affairs.
  • Strong knowledge of the reimbursement landscape and practice management environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute account-based strategies for patient access outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Expertise in account management, relationship development, and issue resolution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility.

Field Access Manager, IBD-EOE
Role Overview
  • Support patients by enhancing access to therapies across Takeda’s portfolio. Act as a trusted educational resource to healthcare providers and institutions to address patient access barriers. Reports to the Regional Director, Patient Access, GI Central.
Objectives and Responsibilities

Location/Travel
  • Michigan (including Detroit); field-based, up to 75% travel; Michigan—Virtual.
Compensation/Benefits (as stated)
  • Base salary range: $152,000–$209,000.
  • Potential incentives; medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, disability, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid volunteer time off, holidays, well-being benefits, up to 80 hours sick time/year, and up to 120 hours paid vacation for new hires.
