VEC is seeking a Survey/3D Laser Scanning Technician in San Francisco to perform and document observations, support field crews, and ensure quality throughout installation. You will centralize project data, capture existing conditions with 3D laser scanning, and produce visual content for as-built communication.

The role requires 1+ year experience in construction, strong collaboration, and the ability to travel or relocate for project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year experience in construction.
• Strong collaboration with field teams and project managers.
• Ability to travel or relocate as required for projects.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination and construction means/methods.

Responsabilités

• Document, report and maintain observations to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Conduct site walks with 360 camera to document progress and issues.
• Capture conditions with 3D laser scanner and RTS-based layout support.
• Operate drones to capture aerial site imagery for analysis and comparison with BIM models.
