We're a young, entrepreneurial law firm founded in 2017 with a growing trusts and estates practice serving high net worth individuals and families. The partner who runs the T&E group sets the terms for his own department, which means decisions on comp, structure, and flexibility get made quickly and without a committee. A recent merger is driving a significant increase in estate and gift tax work, and we're adding a senior fiduciary administrator to anchor that side of the practice.
Why join us?
We're looking for an experienced fiduciary administrator or trusts and estates paralegal who knows their way around estate administration and can operate at or above the level of an early associate. This person will prepare federal estate and gift tax returns (Forms 706 and 709) and the New York State equivalents, manage the estate administration process from start to finish, and handle probate filings, including preparing and filing probate petitions.
The current person in this seat was the practice's first hire and is retiring in November, so we're looking for someone who can step in, take ownership of the work, and grow with the practice as volume increases. For a highly experienced candidate, there's a path to overseeing and training junior staff over time.
