Job summary

Owens Corning's Duncan, SC facility is seeking a Fiberizer Technician to provide hands-on maintenance across the insulation manufacturing network, focusing on reliability, standards, and equipment life. Reports to Ridgeview Engineering Leader with an 8:00am–4:30pm schedule.

You will collaborate with fiberizing teams, analyze test data, and drive safety, environmental, and operational stability initiatives while supporting design concepts and part improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on fabrication, welding, machining, and troubleshooting mechanical assemblies.
• Willingness to travel up to 25–40% domestically and internationally, including Canada and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve fiberizing equipment and shop practices.
• Develop and train others on fiberizer maintenance standards.
• Analyze trial data and prepare actionable technical reports.
• Ensure safety procedures and environmental initiatives are followed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy new fiberizing concepts.
