Job summary

You will troubleshoot from headend to customer devices and mentor lower-level technicians. The role demands DOT compliance, strong FTTH/RFOG expertise, and collaboration with Design, Construction, ISP, NOC/ROC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT driver qualifications where applicable; CDL may be required.
• Ability to obtain DOT medical card and CDL where applicable; comply with DOT requirements.
• FTTH/RFOG network knowledge and installation/troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with ISP environments and field construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills demand and preventive maintenance by troubleshooting and repairing transport, trunk, and distribution networks from headend to customer devices.
• Maintains a unity gain network.
• Performs FCC-required network tests.
• Troubleshoots and repairs distribution networks from headend to customer devices.
• Builds, troubleshoots, and repairs FTTH & RFOG networks.
• Coordinates with Design, Construction, ISP, NOC/ROC to resolve issues and drive improvements.
