Job summary

Nautique Boat Company in Orlando is seeking a meticulous Small Parts Tech to assist in prep and finishing of molds, fiberglass layups, and related processes for boat parts. You will support the Small Parts Manager, perform light sanding, and help ensure parts meet quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include mold prep for infusion, fiberglass layup, hand-tool work, and strict adherence to OSHA safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in boat manufacturing or composite prep preferred.
• Ability to follow supervisor instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work in non-climate-controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and prep molds for infusion, including buffing.
• Apply fiberglass to molds and ensure proper coverage.
• Secure fiberglass, cut to fit, and ensure even distribution.
• Gel coat molds and prepare for infusion.
• Inspect parts for quality and readiness for production.
• Use small hand tools and maintain a clean work area.
• Operate under supervisor directions and adhere to safety procedures.
