Job summary

Goldshield, located in Decatur, Indiana, is seeking an Assembler I - Fiberglass Sander to join our fiberglass fabrication team. The role focuses on sanding gelcoat surfaces and preparing parts for primer and paint applications, contributing to production efficiency and quality in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has up to 1 year of relevant experience, with a high school diploma or GED preferred, and must complete Goldshield training and screenings.

• Preferred 1-year experience in sanding, fiberglass, paint prep, finishing, manufacturing, or production.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to complete required Goldshield training certification.
• Ability to maintain quality standards while preparing fiberglass surfaces.
• Ability to communicate professionally and work well with other employees.
• Successful completion of the drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

A day in the life of a Sander at Goldshield:

• Sanding gelcoat surfaces to prepare parts for primer and paint application.
• Performing sanding duties while meeting quality and quantity standards.
