Job summary

Aerotek seeks a Production Associate in Lincoln, NE to support high-volume fiberglass tube manufacturing. You will set up machines, read blueprints, and measure parts with calipers, micrometers, and tape measures while following SOPs.

This role offers cross-training across production areas and focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. Typical duties include molding support, data entry, and packaging, with a first-shift schedule and potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6+ months of machine operator experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32".
• Ability to convert fractions to decimals or learn to do so.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines to shape composites and produce large fiberglass tubes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to position machinery and materials.
• Adjust machine settings to meet defined specifications.
• Follow safety procedures and SOPs throughout production.
• Use measurement tools to verify dimensions and quality.
• Assist in packaging operations and handle items up to 40 pounds.
• Operate shop equipment like saws and grinders.
• Perform basic inspection of parts to ensure quality.
