Job summary

Twin City Fan & Blower is seeking a Fiberglass Technician to manufacture fiberglass and composite components for industrial applications. You will lay up, finish, inspect, and package parts using hand layup and laminating techniques.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and are willing to learn. Training is provided, with emphasis on safety and quality in a production environment.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division; able to read a tape measure.
• Experience with fiberglass, composites or manufacturing helpful but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture fiberglass and composite parts using hand layup and laminating processes.
• Prepare and grind fiberglass parts for layup and finishing.
• Read blueprints, test sheets and production instructions.
• Inspect finished laminations for defects and dimensional accuracy.
