Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking a Parts Inspector/Finish Repair Technician to construct and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts. You will use gel-coat spray equipment, grinders, buffers, and drills while ensuring quality finishes and structural integrity.

The role requires knowledge of reading prints and production schedules, lifting up to 50 lbs, and meticulous attention to detail to identify defects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 2-3 years of boat building experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to read and understand prints and production schedules.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent attention to detail for identifying defects.

Responsibilities

• Build and repair fiberglass boat hulls, decks, and small parts using hand tools and specialized equipment.
• Inspect parts and understand fiberglass finishes; assess defects.
• Handle solvents, paints, putty, wax; dispose of waste properly.
• Follow job instructions and provide status of part completion.
• Protect boat components during finishing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
