Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembly Tech to join a fast-paced fiberglass manufacturing line in Pocahontas, IA. This contract-to-hire role focuses on assembling lightweight fiberglass components using hand and power tools while meeting quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months in manufacturing and can work well in a team, following procedures and completing production paperwork accurately. First shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, welding, grinding, or fiberglass work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Follow the daily production schedule to meet goals.
• Assemble fiberglass components with hand and power tools.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and complete paperwork accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisor and team to hit targets.
• Attend department meetings and adhere to safety standards.
