Taylor’s Construction, Inc. is seeking a Groundman to support telecommunications construction crews with fiber installation and utility pole projects. This entry-level role is ideal for those starting a career in telecom construction.

You will assist with loading/unloading materials, maintain safe work areas, and perform manual labor under supervision in all weather conditions at our Beckley, WV sites. A high school diploma and a willingness to learn are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist crews with loading/unloading fiber, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain safe and clean work areas at sites.
• Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.
• Provide traffic control and site setup support.
• Support fiber installation and pole placement through manual labor.
