Job summary

Star Construction LLC in Winchester, KY is seeking a Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an Aerial Telecom Crew with installation and maintenance of fiber/telecom cables and materials.

You will provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members, move equipment, ensure door-tagging and resident notifications, and stock or maintain vehicles. Candidates must be 18+, have US work authorization, and a high school diploma or GED, with a valid driver’s license and willingness to become certified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to become pole climber certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.
