Job summary

IES is seeking a Technician II - Fiber to support installation, termination, testing, spanning fiber runs, and splicing. You will install outlets, terminate connectors, build closets, and complete IES paperwork accurately and on time.

Qualified candidates will have 2–4 years in fiber, be able to lift 50 lb, work at heights, travel within the territory, and uphold safety and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years of fiber experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test, and splice fiber networks.
• Install work area outlets, terminate connectors, mount panels.
• Maintain accurate timesheets and work orders.
