Job summary

Forged Fiber is seeking an entry-level installer to deliver, install, repair and test internet services for homes and small businesses. No prior experience is required, but willingness to work outdoors and customer service experience are preferred.

You will perform in-home installations and outdoor service tasks, communicate with customers, and ensure proper wiring and equipment setup. The role includes safety and physical demands, with paid hours and potential overtime in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to climb and work at elevations exceeding 18 feet.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to perform physically demanding tasks up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform all in-home installation and service work for consumer and small business customers.
• Interact with customers professionally and courteously (on-site and by phone).
• Evaluate customer needs and identify additional service opportunities.
• Install, repair, reconnect, rearrange and hang aerial drops as needed for service delivery.
