Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an OSP Fiber Technician in Bridgeport, AL, to work on outside plant fiber systems, not data center cabling. Candidates should have hands-on fiber installation experience with conduit, innerduct, handholes, vaults, and aerial/underground fiber setups.

The role requires installation, splicing, testing, and thorough documentation, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship on job sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to read construction drawings/blueprints and locate pipelines.
• Comfortable outdoors, on ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgeport, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
