Job summary

ITC Service Group is seeking motivated individuals to join our fiber splicing team. We provide full training to splice fiber optic cable, including underground and aerial splicing and running fiber drops for our clients. We service residential and commercial customers, and experience with trenching machines is a plus.

Starting pay is $23.00/hr. This role requires physical fitness, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and a valid state driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in telecom industry preferred but not required.
• Full training provided to splice fiber optic cable incl. underground and aerial splicing and running fiber drops for clients.
• Experience with trenching equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate trenching equipment such as mini skid steer or walk-behind trencher.
• Carry, handle, and climb 28-ft ladders as needed.
• Splice fiber on utility poles and strands.
• Work flexible hours; some days may exceed normal hours including weekends/holidays.
