Job summary

Texstar Enterprises, Inc. in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Fiber Splicing Supervisor to coordinate field operations for FTTH/OSP fiber construction. You will supervise crews, ensure safety, and maintain quality on site while meeting deadlines.

The role requires 3+ years in fiber/telecom, experience with splicing equipment, and strong project management. A valid driver’s license and U.S. work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in fiber/telecom/construction industry.
• Experience supervising crews and managing projects.
• Knowledge of cabling, splicing and testing tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug tests.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage in-house and subcontracted resources performing OSP fiber plant work.
• Supervise and lead employees of assigned departments or projects.
• Oversee onsite and offsite fiber construction for safety/regulatory compliance.
• Forecast resource requirements based on deadlines.
• Ensure quality construction with proper techniques.
• Communicate project progress with customers.
• Review tasks and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop relationships with managers to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Additional duties as assigned.
