The role requires at least two years in fiber splicing, a valid US work authorization, and a high school diploma or GED. Physical work and driving are required, with responsibilities documented daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Pole climber certification preferred or demonstrated proficiency.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths and mid-sheath splicing as needed.
• Provide guidance to other splicers and assist with daily maintenance of vehicles.
• Document work via daily production reports and map updates.
