Job summary

Parkside Utility Construction, LLC is hiring a Fiber Splicer II for field work in the Washington, PA area. You will splice optical fibers, upgrade cables, test networks, and troubleshoot post-installation circuits to maintain robust telecom services.

Role requires two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid US work authorization, and a DOT medical card. You’ll operate vehicles, document daily activities, and may guide fellow splicers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Document work through daily production reports and mark maps.
