Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II in Gibsonia, PA to perform cable upgrades and fiber splicing both aerial and underground, ensuring reliable network connections. You’ll test, activate, and troubleshoot circuits post-installation, maintain safety standards, and document work in daily reports.

This hourly field role requires at least two years of fiber splicing experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and obtain a valid medical card
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma or GED or relevant work experience

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheath
• Document work through daily production reports and maps
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles
