Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II to join our field team. You will perform aerial and underground fiber splicing, test and activate circuits, and ensure compliance with industry standards. You’ll also document work and assist other splicers as needed.

The role requires two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid US driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. This is a full-time, on-site position with safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of telecom network layout and field safety policies.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot circuits after installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer/industry standards.
• Share guidance with fellow splicers as needed.
• Complete basic daily vehicle maintenance and document work via reports.
