Job summary

Lambert's Cable Splicing Company, LLC seeks a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecommunications networks. You will conduct aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot post-installation circuits, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Safety and accurate daily reporting are emphasized. We offer weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) with company match, stock purchase, education reimbursement, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months splicing experience or 1 year in telecom preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States for the company.
• Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks and document work in daily production reports.
