Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecommunications network. You will perform aerial and underground splicing, test circuits, and ensure quality and safety standards while supporting our growing infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or relevant work experience.
• Valid State driver's license with clear driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and obtain medical card.
• 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecom industry.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the air.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks.
• Document work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage records.
