JSI invites you to join our team as an OSP Designer II (Field Engineer) in Nephi, UT. You’ll perform field engineering and staking to produce final outside plant construction plans for FTTx build-outs, coordinating with clients, DOT, and project managers to ensure timely design deliverables.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-starter, detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Site surveys and staking of new FTTx infrastructure.
• Geo-accurate design of fiber lines and facility locations.
• Coordinate with client for specs and construction methods.
• Coordinate with local DOT for permit applications and approvals.
• Coordinate with Project Managers for design deliverables and materials.
